RBC is in a unique situation. We love our current pastor, and he feels the same way. But God’s plan is bigger than ours, and He has called our pastor’s family to international missions. We trust God as we seek a full-time pastor to oversee the fulfillment of His vision for our church. We are looking for a pastor who leads with exemplary character, is devoted to prayer, preaches the Word, and equips us for the work of the ministry. As a body, we want to build on what is already working and are ready to grow and move to the next chapter of our church’s history.

Established in 1903, RBC averages 120 in morning worship. We are a church with members of all ages, including lots of young families and children. Some have been part of Russellville for generations, and some are new to Missouri. Some attend, work, and volunteer at our public school, and some homeschool. Some live in Russellville city limits, the nearby countryside, and neighboring towns. We are teachers, farmers, students, coaches, artists, business professionals, engineers, homemakers, and everything in between. We are a unique body of believers appointed by God to this time and place to serve and glorify Him.

Russellville is a small central Missouri town located in Cole County. The school district is at the heart of our community, and many members are involved as students, teachers, and leaders. Russellville businesses include a daycare, post office, gas station, Dollar General, and restaurants. There's also a pool, city park, and nearby conservation area.

Sixteen miles east of Russellville is Jefferson City, Missouri’s capital. In addition to employment opportunities, it offers healthcare services, shopping, recreation, restaurants, higher education, a library, and a theater.  

Within an hour’s drive are Columbia and Lake of the Ozarks. Both feature additional shopping, dining, recreation opportunities, and higher education institutions. St. Louis and Kansas City are a bit further and feature professional baseball and football, international airports, zoos, and theme parks.
