What to expect at RBC

Two words that describe RBC are family and community. Our small-town roots are deeply reflected, and we genuinely care about each other. Visit once, and someone will most likely remember your name the next week. Keep reading to learn more about what to expect when you visit RBC.

What are the people like?

We have members of all ages, including lots of young families and children. Some have been in Russellville for generations. Some are new to Missouri. Some attend, work, and volunteer at our public school. Some homeschool. We live in Russellville city limits, the nearby countryside, and neighboring towns. We are teachers, farmers, students, coaches, artists, healthcare professionals, engineers, homemakers, and everything in between. We are a unique body of believers appointed by God to this time and place to serve and glorify Him.

Where do I go when I get there?

If you come at 9:30, we have Sunday school classes for all ages, including a nursery. Our greeters will make sure you get to the right place. If you come at 10:30, go straight to the sanctuary and sit wherever you’re comfortable.

What should I wear?

It’s up to you. Many come casual in jeans and shorts; some prefer to dress up a bit more.

Where should I park?

There are parking lots on the north and south sides of the building. Street parking is also available along Simpson Street.

Where do children go during worship?

Kids are in the sanctuary with the adults. In fact, you’ll probably hear them during the service! We have a short children’s sermon at the beginning of the service. A nursery is also available for infants and toddlers.

What is the worship music style?

We have a kingdom-minded worship team that plays all styles of music.

What safety measures do you have in place?

Safety is a priority. From background checks to a dedicated security team, we have many policies and procedures in place to protect kids and adults.
